One Month

Our little Henry Arthur Shamblin has been with us almost a month and a half now. We are so in love with our little man. He's been such a great baby. I was really nervous that number 2 would give us a run for our money since Walker was so easy. So far Henry's disposition seems very similar to Walker's with the exception of wanting to be held a little more in the evenings. THis time around I know how fast the baby stage goes though, so I don't mind extra snuggles!

So, so cute! I think you may look more like mommy!

At one month here are some things I don't want to forget.
-You eat every 3 to 4 hours.
- Nursing is going pretty well. You nurse much better on the right than the left. (Just like Walker!)
- I had you at the doctor on your six week birthday for Walker's 2 year appt. and you weighed 10lbs 11oz. (up from 8lbs even at birth).
- Your eyes are dark blue, so I'm thinking they may turn brown!
- You like to bounce when we are holding you.
- You only like your carseat if we are in motion.
- You are sleeping for 4 and 5 hour stretches at night. We just took you out of your swaddle because you grunt like a crazy man in it.
- You sleep in a rock-n-play sleeper next to our bed.
- You slept through the night once on 6/10/13.
- You wear a size 1 diaper.
- You are out of your newborn clothes and into all 0-3 month clothes.
- You take a Mam paci and seem to like it but still haven't gotten the hang of keeping it in for long.
- You love your momma and seem to know a difference when you are in my arms.
- You started smiling around 5 weeks but don't give them out too often.
- On 6/8/13 you cooed for the first time at your Pappy and Mimi's house, but haven't done it much since.
- You've been pretty much everywhere by now...shopping, church, mommy's school, restaurants, swimming lessons with Walker.
- Walker is starting to show you a little more love.

Henry you have filled our hearts with joy and been a huge, huge blessing to our family in your short little life. We love you so much sweet baby boy!
